Dr. Neumann grew up moving back and forth between California and Ontario, Canada. She developed her love for horses through riding a variety of western disciplines and working at a local horse ranch during high school and college. Dr. Neumann received her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Oregon State university where she completed an honors thesis and developed a strong appreciation for small ruminant and camelid species. Dr. Neumann earned her DVM from the University of California, Davis where she worked as an Equine ICU technician and after hours anesthesia technician for emergency surgeries. Throughout these experiences she has developed a strong interest in critical care, neonatal care, internal medicine and dentistry.
Dr. Neumann is very excited to be a part of the LEqMC team. In her spare time, Dr. Neumann enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Carsten and their Rat Terrier named Snoopy.
