Dr. Rohl grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and her interest in horses began with a pony ride when she was five years old. In the following years, she took English riding lessons consistently and eventually owned “Quill”, her first horse, a Quarter Horse gelding, with whom she spent hours on the trails in the summer time, and then got her first taste of competitive riding with 3-day eventing and hunter/jumper horse shows.
Throughout high school, Dr. Rohl spent her free time as a working student in competitive hunter/jumper barns in Illinois and went on to Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio to pursue bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Equine Pre-Veterinary Studies. While at Otterbein University, Dr. Rohl rode on the IHSA Hunt Seat Team. After graduating from Otterbein University, Dr. Rohl attended The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, Ohio where her interests in Sports Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Internal Medicine were fostered.
Dr. Rohl has moved to Littleton from Ohio with her mixed-breed dog, “Wrigley” and cat “Ferrous.” In her free time, she enjoys spending time hiking with her dog as well as staying active with running, CrossFit and yoga. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the LEqMC team.
