Dr. White comes to Littleton from Banff, AB, Canada. Her passion for horses began at a young age, riding horses in the Rocky Mountains, and evolved to include competing in three-day eventing and show jumping in Canada and eventually New Zealand. She continued to ride and compete young horses on Vancouver Island through her undergraduate degree where she earned a BSc. in biology from the University of Victoria. Dr. White has worked in a variety of areas of veterinary medicine from small animal emergency practice to cow-calf and dairy medicine, rural mixed animal practice, and humanitarian veterinary work in Kenya. Throughout it all, her passion for horses has never wavered. While earning her DVM from the University of Calgary, Dr. White specifically pursued her interests in sports medicine, imaging, and podiatry through student positions and externships at referral equine hospitals in Canada and in the USA.
Dr. White could not be more excited to join the LEqMC team and is looking forward to exploring Colorado. In her spare time, Dr. White enjoys skiing, hiking, climbing, and generally spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog – Trout. She always jumps at the chance to get back in the saddle when she has the opportunity.
