Our goal here at Littleton Equine is to create a deworming schedule that is right for your horse. We recommend annual fecal exams at least 12 weeks after the last deworming and proper time for collection is when the grass begins to grow in the spring as this is when the worms become the most active. If the exam yields a negative egg count, your horse will only need to be dewormed in the spring and fall, ultimately saving you money!
