• We offer orthopedic arthroscopy, and use laparoscopy and laser technology to be less invasive in soft tissue surgery. We also offer needle arthroscopy to visualize stifle abnormalities in the standing horse. From colic to bone chips, OCD to fracture repair, lacerations to castrations, we have the facility, knowledge, and equipment to make the experience successful and as pleasant as possible for the client and the patient.
  • We use Sevoflurane exclusively as an inhalant anesthetic.  This has been shown to be the safest anesthetic for the horse, and the easiest to control the depth of anesthesia.
  • We hand recover most patients after surgery, to minimize the chance of a horse getting injured coming out of anesthesia.  After care involves round the clock monitoring by veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians to help ensure the best outcome.
  • We strive for detailed surgical and medical reports along with clear discharge instructions for our clients and referring practitioners.
